Missing /dev/pts in chrooted stage1 environment

Description

I tried to install a package under a cloned ubuntu 9.04 with

  • the plugin
  • by hand with the slxos-setup shell

Both times I got a

Can not write log, openpty() failed (/dev/pts not mounted?)
    Segmentation fault

Looks like a bug of a missing mounted device.

Im Sinne der Reproduzierbarkeit wären genauere Angaben hilfreich, da andere Plugins klaglos installiert werden. Was sollte gemacht werden und wie sahen die Aufrufe aus?

.4.4 die Ubuntu Umgebungen. Wobei bei -virtualbox das noetige Device angelegt wurde, so das es nun funktioniert. Wurde auch gege das anderen Ubuntu-9.04 VendorOS auf .4.4 getestet.

Wie die Ausrufe aussahen:

slxos-setup shell ubuntu-9.04-foo
  aptitude install virtualbox-ose

Alternativ Paketinstallation via Plugin, was nicht anderes zu machen scheint.

Mit dem noetigen Device (bzw. noetigen Verzeichnis /dev/pts?) ging es dann.

Hier nochmal eine etwas genauere Ausgabe (passiert auch beim Syslog-Plugin):
